Cosy semi-detached character cottage dating from the 19th century located in the pretty village of Thaon (1154 inhabitants) lying to the east of Bayeux and to the north-west of Caen just 9km from the coast in the Bessin region of Calvados. The owners live next door and are on hand to make guests welcome. The cottage has an unfenced garden with garden furniture, BBQ and swings and is reached by a short flight of steps leading to the front door and is all on one level. The landing beaches are nearby and a path near the cottage leads to the charming 10th century village church less than a kilometre away.

Guests with need to bring sheets and pillow cases and towels and tea towels. Blankets and pillows are provided. All electricity, heating and water charges are included in the rental. A fully refundable security deposit of 150 Euros is payable to the owner on arrival.

Arrival time is from 1600 hours and departure time is up to 1000 hours. Charges for end of stay cleaning are payable to the owner on site.

PLEASE REMEMBER that in France cleaning the property at the end of the holiday is considered to be the responsibility of the holidaymaker. Please ensure that you leave the cottage clean and tidy at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will mean that a charge for cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit.
