Outstanding timbered character cottage dating from 1850. The cottage, which faces south, has bay windows in the lounge making it particularly light and cheerful. It is located in the heart of the countryside in the small hamlet of St Ouen Le Pin (276 inhabitants) in the Pays d'Auge region of Calvados and is surrounded by fields and woods. There is a fishing lake and a shared covered heated pool on site which guests are welcome to use for an additional charge. The cottage is only 26km from Villers sur Mer and the seaside. There is one other larger gîte on site.

Utility charges and heating are in addition to the rental and are charged at 36 Euros per week during July and August, 48 Euros per week from April to June and during September and 64 Euros per week during the rest of the year. Guests may hire sheets and pillow cases or may bring their own with them. Guests will need to bring towels and tea towels. Blankets and French style pillows are provided. A fully refundable security deposit is payable to the owner on arrival.

Arrival time is from 1600 hours and departure time is up to 1000 hours. Charges for bed linen hire, heating and end of stay cleaning are payable to the owner on site.

PLEASE REMEMBER that in France cleaning the property at the end of the holiday is considered to be the responsibility of the holidaymaker. Please ensure that you leave the cottage clean and tidy at the end of your stay. Failure to do so will mean that a charge for cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit.
